टाइम ट्रेवल की ऐसी कहानी जिसने पूरे स्टॉक मार्केट को हिला के रख दिया। इस कहानी में 250 साल फ्यूचर से आए एक व्यक्ति ने मात्र दो हफ्ते में $800 के इन्वेस्टमेंट को 350 मिलियन डॉलर बनाया।
यह कहानी शुरू होती है एफ.बी.आई. के एक इन्वेस्टिगेशन से जब 28 जून 2003 को एफ.बी.आई. एक ट्रेडर को अरेस्ट करती है इनसाइडर ट्रेडिंग करने के आरोप में। इस केस में एफ.बी.आई. जिस व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार करती है उसका नाम था एंड्रयू कार्लसन, इस व्यक्ति ने मात्र दो हफ्ते में $800 से 350 मिलियन डॉलर कमाए थे। इतने कम समय में इतनी बड़ी रकम कमाना अपने आप में हैरान कर देने वाला था। इससे भी ज्यादा हैरान कर देने वाली बात एफ.बी.आई. के लिए तब सामने आई जब एफ.बी.आई. ने एंड्रयू से पूछा तो उसने एक ही बार में कन्फेस किया कि यह सारी ट्रेड उसके द्वारा ही ली गई है। और जब एफ.बी.आई. ने एंड्रयू की ट्रेड बुक को देखा तो पाया कि एंड्रयू ने पिछले दो हफ्तों में कुल 126 ट्रेड लिए थे जिसमें 100% एक्यूरेसी के साथ उसने एक बड़ा मुनाफा बुक किया था।

इसी के चलते जब एफ.बी.आई. ने अपनी पूछताछ को आगे बढ़ाया और एंड्रयू से पूछा कि इन सब ट्रेड के बारे में तुम्हें कहां से पता चला तो एंड्रयू के जवाब को सुनकर एफ.बी.आई. के होश उड़ गए। एंड्रयू कार्लसन ने बताया कि वह टाइम ट्रेवल करके 250 साल फ्यूचर से आया है उसे इन सब ट्रेड के बारे में पहले से ही पता है, किस स्टॉक का प्राइस कब ऊपर जाएगा किस स्टॉक का प्राइस कब नीचे जाएगा इस सब की जानकारी उसे पहले से ही है।

एंड्रयू की सब बातों को सुनकर वहां मौजूद सभी लोग दंग रह गए, वहां मौजूद सिक्योरिटीज एंड एक्सचेंज बोर्ड के स्पोकस पर्सन ने एंड्रयू की इन सब बातों को का खंडन करते हुए कहा कि यह आदमी झूठ बोल रहा है इतने कम समय में इतनी एक्यूरेसी से ट्रेड करना मात्र एक सहयोग नहीं हो सकता यह पूरी तरह से प्लांट इनसाइडर ट्रेडिंग ही है, और जब तक इस बात का पूरा खुलासा नहीं हो जाता या फिर एंड्रयू इस बात को कन्फेस नहीं करता तब तक इसे जेल में ही रखा जाएगा।

लेकिन एंड्रयू कार्लसन अपनी बात पर अड़ा रहा और वह एफ.बी.आई. से कहता रहा कि मैं सच बोल रहा हूं, मैं टाइम ट्रेवल करके 250 साल बाद भविष्य से आया है और मैं जानता हूं कि स्टॉक मार्केट में आगे क्या होने वाला है। जब एफ.बी.आई. उसकी इन सब बातों को मानने से इनकार कर देती है तो वह अपनी बात को आगे बढ़ाते हुए वहां मौजूद एफ.बी.आई. के ऑफिशल्स से कहता है कि मैं आपको भविष्य में होने वाली घातक बीमारियों और उनसे बचने के उपाय भी बता सकता हूं क्योंकि 250 साल बाद तक उन बीमारियों का इलाज ढूंढा जा चुका है ।

एफ.बी.आई. ऑफिशल्स ने कभी इन बातों की पुष्टि नहीं की की एंड्रयू ने इन बातों का खुलासा किया या नहीं लेकिन यह फैसला जरूर सामने आया जिसमें कहा गया कि एंड्रयू को पूछताछ के लिए जेल में रखा जाए। लेकिन हैरान कर देने वाली बात तब सामने आई जब इसी साल 3 अप्रैल को एक दानवीर व्यक्ति ने एक मिलियन डॉलर देकर एंड्रयू की बेल कराई। इन सब के चलते जिस आदमी ने एंड्रयू की बेल कराई उसका भी आज तक कोई पता नहीं चला 3 अप्रैल के बाद बेल करने वाला व्यक्ति और एंड्रयू कार्लसन दोनों ही लोगों के बारे में एफ.बी.आई. को कोई जानकारी नहीं मिली।

इन सब बातों से यह सवाल उठता है कि क्या वास्तव में एंड्रयू एक टाइम ट्रैवलर था क्या सच में वह ढाई सौ साल आगे भविष्य से आया था और क्या उसकी बेल करने वाला व्यक्ति भी एक टाइम ट्रैवलर था या यह सब काल्पनिक बातें हैं।

But the surprising thing came to light when on April 3 this year, a generous person gave one million dollars and got Andrew bail.
